"My work is divided into two parts: the sculpture and the performance. The whole work is completed when I cover the sculpture made of wool with syrup in a 50 minutes performance. I want my work to be messy, uncontrollable, chaotic, sticky but alive.
The work is currently created from an 'unconscious' position attempting to remove subjective motivations previously applied to the work. This approach is both challenging and rewarding, as it demands that I trust in the process of creation and surrender control. As I progress through this process of "absolute conformity," I gain insight into my own subconscious impulses, preferences, and ego situations.
Also, it was a goodbye for me in a thousand words.
